PHILLIP R. BONOTTO, Partner: Phil Bonotto was admitted to the California State Bar and the U.S. District Court-Eastern District of California in 1983. Mr. Bonotto attended the University of California at Davis, and graduated with a B.S., with honors, in 1980. He went on to attend McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, and earned his Juris Doctor in Law, with distinction, in 1983. He earned the honor of becoming a member of the Order of the Coif and the Traynor Honor Society while attending McGeorge due to his scholastic and ethical achievements. Mr. Bonotto has argued cases before the First and Third District Court of Appeals and California Supreme Court. In addition to his extensive civil litigation and trial practice, Mr. Bonotto currently volunteers as a Judge Pro Tem and Arbitrator for the Sacramento and El Dorado County Superior Courts. Mr. Bonotto is AV rated by Martindale Hubbel, the highest level of peer review rating available to a practicing attorney. Mr. Bonotto is also an active member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, the Association of Defense Counsel, and the Sacramento County Bar Association.
